This journey to Venice and beyond is not your average tour. We've Gutsified it, infusing luxury and out-of-the-way treasures to bring you the little secrets that make Italy so special! In Venice, you'll see Doges' Palace and Saint Mark's square before going off the beaten path to see Marco Polo's house and the Fenice Theater, where many prominent operas have premiered. Then you're off on a three island tour in the Venetian Lagoon, taking you to Murano, Torcello, and Burano. In Modena, you'll have the opportunity to tour an authentic balsamic vinegar estate before continuing to Parma for a private concert and a sampling of the local delicacies. Finally, on your way to the lakeside town of Como, stop in Milan where you'll have the chance to see da Vinci's The Last Supper, among other sights, with an afternoon free to shop in some of this fashion capital's famous stores. Arriving in Como, relax and enjoy the serene atmosphere. Finally, sail Lake Como as you enjoy the time to absorb all of your local experiences.

DAY 2, Sunday - Arrive Venice
Arrive in Venice and transfer to the Sofitel. Afterwards, enjoy a welcome cocktail followed by dinner

DAY 3, Monday - Venice City Tour
Today's tour of Venice consists of two parts. In the morning, begin with the "must-see" sights including Doge's Palace, Saint Mark's Square, and the Basilica. The afternoon is dedicated to sights that are off the beaten path, with a walking tour that takes you to Santa Maria Formosa, Chiesa dei Miracoli, Marco Polo's house, the Rialto Bridge, Camp Sant'Angelo, and the Fenice Theater

DAY 4, Tuesday - Three Island Tour
Today enjoy the opportunity to visit three islands of the Venetian Lagoon: Murano, Torcello, and Burano. Situated about a mile north of Venice, Murano is renowned for its glassworks, which produce fine mirrors, chandeliers, and jewelry. Torcello, at the northern end of the lagoon, is an all but abandoned island. The quiet island's main attraction is the Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta, a basilica that dates to the 7th century. Lastly, see Burano, famous for lace-making and its array of brightly-painted houses. Lunch is included

DAY 5, Wednesday - Parma via Modena
A day of luxuries begins with a stop in Modena en route to Parma. Enjoy a tasting and lunch at a balsamic vinegar estate. Modena is one of only two places where true balsamic vinegar is produced. You'll be amazed at the quality, complexity, and depth of these vinegars, some of which have been aged over the course of 25 years in casks made from seven different kinds of wood in a process akin to crafting the finest aged whiskeys. After lunch at the estate, continue to Parma, where a walking tour will take you to the splendid Cathedral and Baptistry. In the evening, attend a private concert, as Parma is the city of Giuseppe Verdi, and afterward enjoy a cocktail with local delicacies

DAY 6, Thursday - Como via Milan
Today travel via Milan to Como. In Milan, you'll have the opportunity to see da Vinci's The Last Supper, the Duomo, and Sforza Castle, followed by an afternoon at leisure for a bit of world-class shopping in this global fashion capital. Afterward, continue to Como, situated on Lake Como to enjoy an evening of relaxation

DAY 7, Friday - Sail Lake Como
This morning sail along the scenic waters of Lake Como to Villa Carlotta, a place of
rare beauty, where masterpieces of nature and art exist side by side, with century-old cedars and sequoias, the Rock garden, ferns valley, the rhododendrons wood, and bamboo garden. Continue to Bellagio, where you can saunter the slender streets and alleyways lined with craft shops, boutiques and cafés. This afternoon, sail back to Como and enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure, before celebrating a farewell dinner with your companions at the hotel

DAY 8, Saturday - return to USA
