DAY 1 Friday - Depart USA
Board your overnight flight for Morocco

DAY 2 Saturday - Welcome reception
Arrive in Casablanca and transfer to your hotel in Rabat, the capital of the Kingdom of Morocco. Our hotel is situated across the street from the Medina, offering views of the bustling marketplace as well as the Bou Regreg River. In the evening, we will enjoy a welcome reception at the hotel

DAY 3 Sunday - Tour Casablanca
Casablanca / Rabat
We return to the famed city of Casablanca, Morocco's economic center, for a half day city tour, which will take us from the Corniche seaside to the city center, where we will visit the Mohamed V Square, the Habous Quarter, and finally the Notre Dame de Lourdes Cathedral. Proceeding to Rabat, we will have the opportunity to view the Royal Palace, the ruins of Chellah, and the Hassan Tower, an abandoned structure once intended to be the largest mosque in the world. Dinner at the hotel this evening

DAY 4 Monday - Depart for Fez
This morning we set off for Fez. En route, we will travel through Meknès, where we will stop to admire the most ornate and well-preserved of the ancient city gates, the Bab Mansour. In Fez, we will witness local artisans using tanning methods employed since the Middle Ages as they craft exquisite leather goods. Dinner at the hotel this evening

DAY 5 Tuesday - Tour Fez
We continue our exploration of the remarkable city of Fez with a visit to the Jewish Quarter before moving on to walk the winding alleys of souks. We will enjoy a carpet weaving demonstration, observing Moroccan artistry at its finest. This evening, we will dine in the medina while we take in a folk show featuring music and traditional belly dancing

DAY 6 Wednesday - Afternoon in Beni Mellal
Beni-Mellal
After breakfast, we will journey to the central city of Beni Mellal, resting at the foot of the Middle Atlas Mountains. This city, in the heart of the Kingdom, serves as an agricultural marketplace and represents authentic Moroccan culture. Once at our hotel we can luxuriate in the hammam, a traditional steam bath that both cleanses and relaxes the body. Dinner at the hotel this evening

DAY 7 Thursday - Tour Marrakesh
In the morning, we will proceed to Marrakesh, known as "The Red City," which boasts not only the largest souk in Morocco, but also the world-renowned Djemaa El Fna Square. For lunch, we dine at Al Fassia, a gourmet restaurant run by a women's cooperative offering a selection of Moroccan specialties and staffed exclusively by women. Afterwards, tour the city's Medina District, to be followed by a reception at the Museum of Marrakesh. Dinner at the hotel this evening

DAY 8 Friday - Full Day in Marrakesh
Take part in an excursion to the Ourika Valley region, noted for its natural beauty. Here, we will receive a lesson on how to prepare Moroccan cuisine at a traditional house. Then we will participate in the unique experience of a henna ceremony, where we will have the chance to observe the creation of amazingly intricate art using henna, a dye employed since the Bronze Age for adorning the body. Dinner at the hotel this evening

DAY 9 Saturday - Travel to Ouirgane
After breakfast, we travel to Ouirgane, a town set within spectacular view of the High Atlas Mountains, providing the perfect opportunity for painting the landscape as well as the local gardens. Tonight, we celebrate our final evening together in Morocco during a farewell dinner at the hotel

DAY 10 Sunday - Depart for the USA
After breakfast, bid adieu to the exotic charms of the Red City as you depart for the Marrakesh Airport for your return flight home
